The latest Central American ‘migrant caravan’ crossed into Mexico “without confrontation” this week, when Mexican authorities reportedly opened border checkpoints to allow the asylum seekers to enter unimpeded.
“Around 1,000 Central American migrants marched freely through the Guatemala-Mexico border on Friday after the gates were left wide open, with Mexican authorities standing down from confronting the caravan,” reports Fox News.
“The border gates were open only temporarily, but migrants – who crossed the bridge from Tecun-Uman to Ciudad Hidalgo – were surprised to find no locks on the gates, effectively giving them a free pass to enter the country without being stuck at the border or registering with immigration officials and now begin the trek to the U.S. border, which can range from between 1,000 to 2,500 miles depending on the point of entry,” adds the report.

TRUMP: ‘Only a Wall’ Will Stop Latest 'Migrant Caravan' from Entering the United States
President Trump called-out leading Democrats for their flat-out refusal to properly fund border security Tuesday; saying “only a wall” can stop the latest Central American ‘migrant caravan’ from entering the United States.
“A big new Caravan is heading up to our Southern Border from Honduras. Tell Nancy and Chuck that a drone flying around will not stop them. Only a Wall will work. Only a Wall, or Steel Barrier, will keep our Country safe! Stop playing political games and end the Shutdown!” posted the president on social media.

CARAVAN CHAOS: Migrants Demand Trump Admits Them into US or Pay them $50,000 EACH to Go Home
A group of Central American migrants gave a list of demands to US officials at the American consulate in Tijuana, Mexico this week; asking President Trump to either admit them into the country or pay them each $50,000 to go home.
“Two groups of Central American migrants marched to the U.S. Consulate in Tijuana on Tuesday with a list of demands, with one group delivering an ultimatum to the Trump administration: either let them in the U.S. or pay them $50,000 each to go home,” reports Fox News.
“The first group of caravan members, which included about 100 migrants, arrived at the consulate around 11 a.m. Alfonso Guerreo Ulloa, an organizer from Honduras, said the $50,000 figure was chosen as a group,” adds the article.
“It may seem like a lot of money to you,” Ulloa told the paper. “But it is a small sum compared to everything the United States has stolen from Honduras.”
