REPORT: DOJ Officials Likely Withheld ‘Proof of Innocence’ in Early Days of Russia Probe

posted by Hannity Staff - 3.14.19

A new report from The Hill’s John Solomon could spell big trouble for Democratic sources and DOJ officials during the launch of the Russia-Trump collusion probe; revealing multiple individuals likely withheld “proof of innocence” information from investigators.

“If President Trump declassifies evidence in the Russia investigation, Carter Page’s summer bike ride to a Virginia farm and George Papadopoulos’s hasty academic jaunt to London may emerge as linchpin proof of FBI surveillance abuses during the 2016 election,” writes The Hill’s John Solomon.

“The two trips have received scant attention. But growing evidence suggests both Trump campaign advisers made exculpatory statements — at the very start of the FBI’s investigation — that undercut the Trump-Russia collusion theory peddled to agents by Democratic sources,” he adds.

‘ILLEGAL AND TREASONOUS’: President Trump SLAMS DOJ Officials McCabe, Rosenstein

posted by Hannity Staff - 2.18.19

President Trump unloaded on former Acting Director of the FBI Andrew McCabe and Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein Monday morning; accusing the two of orchestrating an “illegal and treasonous” plot to remove him from office.

“Wow, so many lies by now disgraced acting FBI Director Andrew McCabe. He was fired for lying, and now his story gets even more deranged. He and Rod Rosenstein, who was hired by Jeff Sessions (another beauty), look like they were planning a very illegal act, and got caught,” tweeted Trump.

“There is a lot of explaining to do to the millions of people who had just elected a president who they really like and who has done a great job for them with the Military, Vets, Economy and so much more. This was the illegal and treasonous ‘insurance policy’ in full action!” he added.

'NOT HELPFUL': Secret Email Shows Strzok ‘WORRIED’ About Hillary Probe

posted by Hannity Staff - 4.20.18

Recently released emails show anti-Trump DOJ official Peter Strzok worried that former President Barack Obama’s public comments would impact the public’s perception of the ongoing Hillary email investigation.

According to Fox News, the communications show Strzok was highly concerned that the President’s statement was “not helpful” and warned the White House “there is a line they need to hold.”

“Below not helpful,” Strzok wrote to top FBI counterintelligence official. “Certainly the WH is going to do whatever it wants, but there is a line they need to hold with regard to the appearance of non-interference.”

The emails echo similar comments made in James Comey’s new tell-all book, where the former FBI chief claims Obama “jeopardized” the Hillary probe by making comments that caused many to question the administration’s role in the investigation.

“Contributing to this problem, regrettably, was President Obama. He had jeopardized the Department of Justice’s credibility in the investigation,” writes Comey.
