A local television station based in San Diego claimed Thursday that CNN refused to air their “view” on border security due to previous reporting on how “effective” a border wall has been for the region.
“A San Diego television station on Thursday said that CNN had asked for a ‘local view’ and then ‘declined to hear from us’ after past reports from the station showed that a border wall was effective,” reports the Hill.
“Thursday morning, CNN called the KUSI Newsroom asking if one of our reporters could give them a local view of the debate surrounding the border wall and government shutdown,” claimed a report from KUSI.
“KUSI offered our own Dan Plante, who has reported dozens of times on the border, including one story from 2016 that was retweeted by former Speaker of the House, Newt Gingrich, and posted on DrudgeReport.com,” the report added.
“We believe CNN declined a report from KUSI because we informed them that most Border Patrol Agents we have spoken to told us the barrier does in fact work,” it confirmed.

CNN SNOWFLAKE: Jim Acosta WHINES White House ‘DROWNING OUT’ His Voice
CNN senior White House correspondent Jim Acosta publicly bemoaned his treatment by White House officials on social media Tuesday, complaining that press aides “shouted in his face” and that it was behavior one “would see in a different country.”
The fierce opponent of President Trump vented his frustrations on twitter this week, whining that he “has never encountered” this sort of resistance from White House officials and that it “certainly” not something one would see in the United States.
“As I attempted to ask questions in Roosevelt Room of Trump, WH press aides shouted in my face to drown out my questions. I have never encountered that before… What occurred reminded me of something I would see in a different country. Certainly not at the WH. Certainly not in the U.S.,” Acosta tweeted.

The CNN correspondent routinely feuds with White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders and other Trump officials –including the President himself. Last week, Huckabee Sanders mocked Acosta to his face during a daily press briefing, saying the reporter’s numbers “would be higher” if President Trump watched CNN.

FIREWORKS: Sanders SILENCES CNN’S April Ryan, Says ‘You Don’t Know Me’
White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders fired-back at CNN’s April Ryan during a heated exchange Thursday, telling the left-leaning reporter that she “doesn’t know much about me.”
Sanders was speaking with journalists during her daily press briefing when she was asked whether she felt “blind-sided” over recent reports surrounding the President’s legal team.

“With all due respect, you actually don’t know much about me in terms of what I feel and what I don’t.”
Ryan weighed-in on the exchange a short time later on CNN, saying “I’m just leaving the briefing room and I had to decompress. It was a moment.”
“She took this personally and it was not a personal attack,” Ryan complained.
