California takes the top spot as the least-educated state in the nation in a recent finding from the US Census Bureau published this week, reports CNS News.
According to CNS, the Golden State ranks number one due to the number of residents aged 25-years and older who haven’t graduated from high school.
“California ranks No. 1 among the 50 states for the percentage of its residents 25 and older who have never completed ninth grade and 50th for the percentage who have graduated from high school,” writes CNS.
The report finds 9.7% of California residents 25 and older have “never completed the ninth grade” and just 82.5% have graduated from High School.
“In fact, the 2,510,370 California residents 25 and older who, according to the Census Bureau, never finished ninth grade outnumber the entire populations of 15 other states,” adds the website.

ALL OUT WAR: Governor Brown Says TRUMP 'AT WAR' with the State of California
California Governor Jerry Brown slammed the Trump administration Wednesday afternoon following Attorney General Jeff Sessions’ address to law enforcement officials in Sacramento; saying the White House has declared “war” against his state.
The Governor was speaking with reporters at the state Capitol when he viciously attacked Sessions’ remarks, claiming it was “unprecedented” that the federal government would “basically go to war” against California.
“This is really unprecedented for the chief law enforcement officer of the United States to come out to California and act more like Fox News than a law enforcement officer. This is a political stunt,” said the liberal leader. “We know the Trump administration is full of liars. They’ve pled guilty already to the special counsel.”
“This is basically going to war against the state of California, the engine of the American economy. It’s not wise, it’s not right, and it will not stand,” Brown added.
“Look, we know the Trump administration is full of liars,” California Gov. Jerry Brown says in response to AG Sessions. “The release records are public, and there's nothing that stops any sheriff who runs the jails to working with ICE.” https://t.co/YVbTYKJhnk pic.twitter.com/5KpGagyB7M

The Governor’s harsh rhetoric was a stark rebuke to the Attorney General’s comments from earlier Wednesday, when the nation’s top law enforcement official re-affirmed that “federal law” is the “supreme law of the land.”
“There is no nullification. There is no secession. Federal law is the supreme law of the land. I would invite any doubters to go to Gettysburg, to the tombstones of John C. Calhoun and Abraham Lincoln. This matter has been settled,” Sessions said.

BLUE STATE EXODUS: Residents Flee HIGH TAXES in New York, California
Residents in liberal states throughout the country are ditching high taxes and rising crime rates in search of a better deal; relocating to red states that have lower costs and more business incentives heading into summer 2018.
According to the Wall Street Journal, countless Americans are leaving New York, New Jersey, and California; opting to relocate to more financially-friendly states such as Nevada and Florida following the GOP-sponsored tax cuts.
“I’ve seen a huge increase in the number of clients who want to purchase in Palm Beach to establish residency in Florida,” said the director of luxury sales at Douglas Elliman Real Estate. “And there has been a pickup since Jan. 1.”
“They were finance people in their mid- to late-30s looking in the $700,000 to $1.5 million range for condos on the island,” he added. “That night I saw before my eyes how this tax law is impacting the real-estate industry here.”
