King Abdullah II of Jordan says “no refugees in Joran, no refugees in Egypt.” It’s a “red line.”
During a press conference in Germany, King Abdullah II made it clear that Jordan and Egypt would not accept Palestinian refugees coming out of the Gaza Strip.
“No refugees in Jordan, no refugees in Egypt,” King Abdullah said in Berlin Tuesday. “That is a red line, because I think that is the plan by certain of the usual suspects to try and create de facto issues on the ground.”
The comments came following a meeting with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz.
