He said he’d do it — and he’s doing it.
According to a Fox News report, President Donald Trump’s immigration crackdown has turned into a historic deportation surge, with more than 500,000 illegal aliens removed since he returned to office in January — and counting.
According to DHS Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin, the administration is “on pace to shatter historic records,” expecting to hit 600,000 deportations by year’s end. That figure doesn’t even include the 1.6 million who’ve self-deported since Trump took office, or the 485,000 arrests made by DHS teams.
McLaughlin credited the turnaround to Trump and Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem, saying they “jumpstarted an agency that was vilified and barred from doing its job for the last four years.”
“Illegal aliens are hearing our message to leave now or face the consequence,” she told Fox News Digital, noting a 99.99% drop in migration through Panama’s Darien Gap — once a major corridor for border crossers.
Even with activist judges throwing up legal roadblocks, DHS says ICE, CBP, and the Coast Guard are carrying out Trump’s mandate to arrest and deport those who have invaded our country.
This weekend alone, agents arrested criminal illegal aliens convicted of child rape, assault, hit-and-run, and kidnapping.
Trump promised to restore law and order — and the numbers don’t lie. America’s borders are finally being defended again.
