Republican Tulsa Mayor G.T. Bynum declared a ‘Civil Emergency’ outside the arena scheduled to host President Trump’s ‘Make America Great Again’ rally on Saturday; moving hundreds of supporters waiting in line for the event.
“Bynum cited recent ‘civil unrest,’ expected “crowds in excess of 100,000” in the vicinity of the rally and opposition protests in his decision to place a federal exclusion zone for a six-block radius near the arena,” reports Fox News.
“As part of our preparations for President Trump’s Rally this Saturday, we are working on making the area secure for everyone’s safety,” posted the Tulsa Police Department. “As posted earlier, the area illustrated in this map will need to be free of vehicles and pedestrian traffic.”

“I have received information from the Tulsa Police Department and other law enforcement agencies that shows that individuals from organized groups who have been involved in destructive and violent behavior in other States are planning to travel to the city of Tulsa for purposes of causing unrest in and around the rally,” Bynum wrote in the executive order.

READY TO MAGA: People Line Up 3 DAYS IN ADVANCE for Trump’s Tulsa Rally
From Fox News:
More than two days before the president is set to take the stage in Oklahoma for his first rally since the coronavirus lockdowns, ardent Trump supporters are already lining up to camp outside the venue.
President Trump on Saturday night is scheduled to rally with supporters at BOK Center, a venue in Tulsa which can hold around 20,000 people.
I’d estimate about 2 dozen Trump supporters are already lined up outside the BOK center ahead of Saturday’s rally. Security barricades can also be spotted on nearby streets ahead of the president’s visit – his first rally since early March. pic.twitter.com/wBeG6NlB1m

‘JUST SARCASM’: Dem Who Supported Spreading Coronavirus at MAGA Rallies Says Comment Just ‘Sarcastic’
A Democratic councilwoman from Denver deflected a growing backlash after she signaled her support for spreading the Coronavirus at ‘Make America Great Again’ rallies Tuesday; saying her comments were simply “sarcastic.”
“Councilwoman CdeBaca made a sarcastic tweet on Twitter to call attention to the Trump administration’s downplaying of the Coronavirus outbreak as a “hoax” no more dangerous than the common flu. Rather than conservative outlets making a four-day-old Tweet their focus on Super Tuesday, they should focus their energy on demanding a competent Federal response to this public health crisis instead,” said a statement from her office.

The Colorado Republican Party released their own statement shortly after, saying “Councilwoman CdeBaca praising a social media post calling for Trump supporters to be infected with the coronavirus is simply disgusting. There can be no room in our politics for wishing harm on Americans who have different political beliefs. Democrats in Colorado and across the country need to condemn this evil statement… In light of these comments, the Colorado Republican Party is calling on Councilwoman CdeBaca to resign immediately.”
