Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg returned to the Supreme Court Tuesday following major lung surgery late last year; joining the other eight judges to hear oral arguments after working from home for weeks.
The 85-year-old judge arrived at the bench at 10am and reportedly asked five questions regarding a patent-law case.
“Ginsburg had last appeared in a public session in early December, shortly before the surgery to remove two cancerous nodules from her left lung. No remaining signs of cancer were discovered,” writes Fox News.
Ginsburg worked from home while recovering from the operation; sparking new speculation she may be eying retirement in the coming months.
