A video has leaked of third-party presidential candidate RFK Jr. speaking with Donald Trump about the assassination attempt, vaccines, President Biden, and more.
Kennedy and Trump appear engaged in a civil, respectful conversation despite their differences. Kennedy says he never meant for the video to be released to the public.
“When President Trump called me I was taping with an in-house videographer,” he wrote. “I should have ordered the videographer to stop recording immediately. I am mortified that this was posted.”

In the video, Trump speaks a little about his recent brush with death. Trump describes the wound on his ear: “It felt like the world’s largest mosquito.”
Trump also made an apparent effort to win RFK’s support: “I would love you to do something. And I think it’ll be so good for you and so big for you. And we’re going to win.”
