Donald Trump spoke to the press briefly outside a Manhattan courtroom on Wednesday where he was asked about a possible bid for Speaker of the House. Rep. Tryo Nehls (R-TX) said he would nominate Trump.
“All I can say is we’ll do whatever’s best for the country and for the Republican Party.” A lot of people have asked me about it… My focus is totally on [the election]. If I can help them during the process, I would do it.”
“My total focus is on being president,” Trump added, noting that there are other “great people” in the GOP who could handle the job.
