PORTER POTTY MOUTH: Failing California Gov Candidate Ramps Up the Cursing as Interest in Her Campaign Winds Down [WATCH]

A candidacy in its death throes.

Katie Porter’s struggling campaign for California governor returned to one of her signature political props — the whiteboard — this time with an explicit message aimed at President Donald Trump.

At the California Democratic Convention in San Francisco, the former congresswoman displayed a mini whiteboard reading “F— Trump!” and shouted the phrase to hundreds of attendees as she began her speech.

Opposition to Trump has been a recurring theme across convention speeches, with Democratic candidates emphasizing pushback against White House policies.

But Porter’s attempt to launch a chant appeared to receive a muted response, as she stammered while addressing a largely quiet audience.

“Yeah, that’s right,” Porter said. “F— Trump.”

“Together, we’re going to kick Trump’s a— in November,” she continued. “I’ll stand up to Trump and his cronies, just like I did in Congress. With or without my whiteboard. But this election is about more than defeating Trump.”

Porter, known for using a whiteboard during congressional hearings to challenge corporate executives, is one of seven Democratic candidates competing in the race.

The crowded field could shape the June primary, where two Republicans — former Fox News host Steve Hilton and Riverside County Sheriff Chad Bianco — are emerging as front-runners.

California has not elected a Republican governor since Arnold Schwarzenegger left office in 2011.
