A new poll shows an increasing number of Democrats are concerned over Senator Bernie Sanders physical fitness; saying he may be unfit for office after suffering a heart attack in October.
“Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders’ health poses a concern to Democrats, former Vice President Joe Biden prevails on electability and strong leadership and Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren is competitive on mental acuity and bringing ‘needed change’ to Washington – attributes that may help shape their party’s presidential contest,” reports MSN.
The poll has Biden on top at 27%, Warren at 21%, and Sanders in third place at 19%.
The survey also shows 45% of registered Democrats don’t believe Sanders is “healthy enough” to take over the responsibilities of the presidency.
That number falls to 19% for Biden and 9% for Warren.
Sanders also sits in last place in candidate attributes, with just 16% saying he has the “best chance” to defeat Donald Trump in 2020.
