Big payday for Shirley.
Golden State Gov. Gavin Newsom posted on X this week, offering a $50,000 reward to anyone who can provide information that helps crack unsolved crimes in California.
“If you know something, it is your duty to come forward to give victims and their loved ones justice. Every case matters, every victim matters, and California is determined to secure accountability,” Newsom posted.
Independent journalist Nick Shirley, who recently helped expose millions of dollars in hospice fraud in California, replied to the governor’s post.
“Lmk where to send the invoice to, should be a nice check. Thank you!” Shirley responded.
Texas Senator Ted Cruz shared Shirley’s response, calling it “perfection.”

Shirley was recently in California investigating fraud. He and his team released a 40-minute video of some of the worst things he uncovered.
Watch the clip below:
🚨 Here is the full 40 minutes of my crew and I exposing California fraud, Minnesota was big but California is even bigger… We uncovered over $170,000,000 in fraud as these fraudsters live in luxury with no consequences. Like it and share it, the fraud must STOP.
