CNN’s lone GOP panelist Scott Jennings joked this week that President Trump should hire Nancy Pelosi to run Americans’ retirement accounts; “We could all be retired in six months!” Jennings joked.
Pelosi has long been suspected of using insider information to trade stocks. Now she’s retiring — and Jennings got in a few jabs.
“Putting Nancy Pelosi in fundraising emails would always produce,” Jennings said. “And by the way, it’s not often that someone can become a titan of both Washington and Wall Street. Republicans will remember her as one of the most prolific and successful day traders. She beat the S&P 500 by 559% in her stock portfolio. She’s worth a lot of money. She did an amazing job. What a blow for the financial houses today on Wall Street. I’m sure they’re mourning.”
Jennings added: “I want Trump to put her in charge of the Social Security Administration. We could all retire in six months!”

The former House Speaker and Democratic powerhouse announced Thursday she will not seek reelection, officially closing the book on one of the most polarizing — and powerful — runs in congressional history.
“I want you, my fellow San Franciscans, to be the first to know I will not be seeking re-election to Congress,” Pelosi, 85, said in a video message to constituents.
Pelosi had a $2,675,036 minimum net worth in the year she began serving and a $63,996,050 minimum net worth in 2024, according to a Daily Caller News Foundation analysis of assets and liabilities listed in her congressional financial disclosures.
