A handshake that could reshape a war.
President Trump will welcome Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy to the White House at 1 p.m. today to discuss ending the war in Ukraine and exploring new partnerships between Kyiv and Washington.
Trump announced Thursday that high-level U.S. and Russian officials will also meet next week after a “very productive” phone call with President Vladimir Putin.
The president, 79, didn’t specify exact dates for either meeting but hinted the Budapest sit-down would take place “within two weeks or so, pretty quick.”
That development has reportedly dimmed the chances that Trump will provide Ukraine with U.S.-made Tomahawk missiles capable of striking deep inside Russian territory.
