PATRIOTIC PICKUP: Student Who Was Told He Couldn't Fly American Flag Gets Car Wrapped in Stars & Stripes [SEE IT]

As previously reported, Indiana high school senior Cameron Blasek unexpectedly found himself at the center of a viral social media story this month when he fought back against his school for trying to ban the American flag.

Blassek was flying the flag from the back of his pickup truck.

Blasek ultimately won out, and his school allowed him to fly the American from his pickup truck. But now Blasek has taken it a step further — and wrapped his car in the stars and stripes.

From FOX19:

The American Legion noted Blasek for his support of the flag last weekend. A Cincinnati graphics company is supporting Blasek with a new custom wrap for his pickup truck.

GCI Digital Imaging in Cincinnati applied the wrap to his truck for free. The custom wrap features the stars and stripes and a red, white and blue color scheme.

“We did it because we are proud Americans that believe that Cameron did exactly what needs to be done, stand up for our freedoms,” owner TJ Bedacht said.

GCI Digital Imaging provided photos to FOX19 NOW Anchor Tricia Macke of Blasek’s truck undergoing its patriotic makeover with a video of it being hauled on a flatbed sporting its new star-spangled color scheme.

FOX19 reporter shared the story update on X.

“Earlier this month, Cameron Blasek, a senior at East Central High School, was called to the principal’s office and told to remove his American Flag from his truck,” Tricia Macke posted. “He said no! Other students hoisted flags on their vehicles in a show of support. The principal reversed his decision and allowed the flag to stay. After hearing this, some tristate business owners decided to support Cameron even louder! They wrapped his truck, for free, in a custom-made American Flag! TJ Bedacht owner of GCI Digital Imaging on why, “We did it because we are proud Americans that believe that Cameron did exactly what needs to be done.. stand up for our freedoms!” It is now in transit to Cameron.”
