PAIN IN THE GAS: Cali's Gas Prices the Highest in the Nation [WATCH]

Up, up, and away.

This week, CNN’s senior data analyst Harry Enten was shocked to see how high California’s gas prices have climbed. The Golden State is the worst state in the nation to fill up your tank.

“Oh my goodness gracious. I mean, just take a look at the price of gasoline for a gallon of gas. The national average right now is $4.48, but you think that’s bad? Go out to the left coast — top in the United States: six dollars and thirteen cents. There’s even a gas station where it costs about ten dollars per gallon,” Enten said.

“And of course if you’ve ever been out there you always know prices in California for a gallon of gas are just simply put absolutely outrageous, running well ahead of the national average,” Enten added.
