House Speaker Mike Johnson took to X on Wednesday to share footage of Vice President JD Vance’s first time in the Oval Office; “This is incredible,” Vance can be heard saying in the clip.

“As we gathered for our meeting at the White House yesterday, JD Vance mentioned to us that he had never before visited the Oval Office,” Johnson wrote in a post on X.

“I told him and President Trump that I HAD to capture the moment on video,” Johnson said. “Only in America can a hardworking young man from Appalachia rise from his humble circumstances to enter the Oval for first time as VICE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES. What a country!”

“Come on in,” President Donald Trump said as he invited Vance and Johnson into the Oval Office.

“Wow,” Vance said. “This is pretty crazy.”
