Searching for Nancy Guthrie

ON THE TRAIL: Investigators Find Glove During Hunt for Nancy Guthrie’s Kidnappers: Report

posted by Hannity Staff - 2.11.26

FBI agents recovered a black glove from roadside desert brush roughly 1.5 miles from the home of Nancy Guthrie, the 84-year-old mother of “Today” show host Savannah Guthrie, in what investigators are treating as a potential clue in the suspected abduction case, The Post reported.

Video and photos show members of the FBI Evidence Response team collecting the glove from low shrubbery in a secluded desert suburb on the outskirts of Tucson, and detectives believe it resembles gloves worn by the armed, masked suspect seen on surveillance footage.

Authorities have not announced any suspects in the case, in which Nancy Guthrie is believed to have been forced from her home, with investigators citing a trail of blood left behind.

On Tuesday, the FBI released footage of a man wearing black gloves, a ski mask, and a holstered gun destroying a doorbell security camera — the first major piece of footage authorities have publicly revealed after a 10-day investigation.

The same day the footage was released, law enforcement detained a person of interest near the Mexican border for questioning, but the individual was released early Wednesday without charges.
