Rep. Ilhan Omar exploded on the Trump administration over the weekend; viciously accusing the President of seeking to deport “every black and brown” person living in the United States.
“You all should end this charade and accept that this racist president wants every black/brown person deported and Muslims banned,” posted Omar on social media.

Omar escalated her ongoing feud with the Trump administration last week; vowing to remain the President’s “nightmare” in the coming months.
“It sure feels good to be home. They said, ‘Send her back,’ They didn’t know I was already going back… The reality is he is threatened because we’re inspiring people to dream about a country that recognizes their dignity and their humanity,” said Omar.
“We’re pushing for a country that takes care of its sick, its most vulnerable… When I said I was the President’s nightmare, well, you’re watching it now because his nightmare is seeing a Somali, immigrant refugee rise to Congress,” she added.
“We are gonna continue to keep fighting until we have the America we know we all deserve."

Democratic lawmakers pushed-back against Rep. Ilhan Omar’s latest legislation defending a proposed boycott of Israel; saying the bill is “dead on arrival” in the House of Representatives.
“High-profile Democrats are decrying a controversial resolution from Rep. Ilhan Omar affirming the right to boycott Israel, even as they rally behind her and three other first-term congresswomen attacked by President Trump,” reports Fox News.
“We are introducing a resolution … to really speak about the American values that support and believe in our ability to exercise our First Amendment rights in regard to boycotting,” Omar said in a recent interview.
“I can’t imagine that any committee is going to mark up or take seriously any pro-BDS resolution,” said Rep. Brad Sherman. “Am I worried about the overall BDS movement worldwide as an economic matter? No. As an effort to delegitimize Israel, of course. The comments here today are a tiny part of that delegitimizing effort.”
“I think the BDS movement is harmful, and anyone that promotes it is making a big mistake,” said Rep. Eliot Engel.

“Americans of conscience have a proud history of participating in boycotts to advocate for human rights abroad including … boycotting Nazi Germany from March 1933 to October 1941 in response to the dehumanization of the Jewish people in the lead-up to the Holocaust,” Omar told her colleagues when introducing the legislation Tuesday.
OMAR DIGS IN: Ilhan Omar Says the Trump Administration is ‘Making It Worse’ for People of Venezuela
Embattled Rep. Ilhan Omar continued to blame Venezuela’s struggle to regain freedom from Maduro’s brutal socialist regime on the United States Thursday; claiming the Trump administration was simply “making it worse.”
“Just as in interventions past, those who oppose war are labeled supporters of dictators and haters of ‘freedom.’ We saw this playbook in Iraq. The situation in Venezuela is dire and the Trump Admin is making it worse. We must support diplomacy, not war,” she posted on social media.

Omar has routinely refused to condemn Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro; saying “democracy” must be followed and it’s “up to the people” to decide who runs the once-rich, oil-producing nation.
