Chairman of the House Intelligence Committee Devin Nunes unloaded on his Democratic colleague Adam Schiff Monday, saying the Democrats “have blood on their hands” and have “completely destroyed” the FBI and the DOJ.
Nunes was speaking with Fox News when he was asked to comment on Schiff’s recent comments where he accused the GOP of damaging the reputation of the Department of Justice, saying “we’re not going to be threatened by Democrats.”
“We’re not gonna be threatened by the Democrats. They are the ones that have all this blood on their hands,” said Nunes.
“They’re the ones who completely destroyed the FBI and DOJ. How did they do that? They did that by digging up dirt, the Clinton campaign dug up dirt, put it into a dossier, fed into the FBI and the FBI used our counterintelligence capabilities against a political campaign,” he added.

DEMOCRATS PANIC: Nunes Says FISA MEMO Only ‘PHASE ONE,’ Eyes Hillary’s STATE DEPT.
House Intelligence Chairman Devin Nunes raised alarm bells within Democratic circles on Monday, saying his decision to release the bombshell FISA memo was just “phase one” in his efforts to get to the bottom of anti-Trump abuse throughout the federal government.
Nunes was speaking with Fox News when he outlined his vision for the next stage of the Committee’s investigation into widespread abuse at the FBI, Department of Justice, and beyond; adding he plans to “follow the facts where they lead.”
“What we will do in phase two is follow the facts where they lead, and when we get enough facts, we will figure out a way to let the American people know,” he told Fox & Friends.
“Phase one of our investigation was getting to the FISA abuse. What we’re looking at now is the State Department and some of the irregularities there,” he added.
Nunes’ comments come months after Attorney General Jeff Sessions confirmed his Department of Justice was investigating “certain issues” inside former President Barack Obama’s State Department; including Hillary’s Uranium One deal and possible “pay-to-play” arrangements between the State Department and Clinton Foundation.

The congressman was speaking with Fox News when he was asked to weigh-in on the special counsel’s months-long probe into the 2016 election; confirming he’s yet to see “any credible evidence or intelligence” that warranted the investigation.

“We have yet to see any credible evidence or intelligence that led to the opening of this investigation,” said Nunes.
Nunes has been calling on the Department of Justice and the FBI to release material over why they launched the investigation in the first place; saying the possibility of an “inside source” within the Trump campaign would be severely embarrassing for the agency.
“I think what it really means, I think it will look badly on the Department of Justice and the FBI on how they conducted this investigation,” he added.
