Georgia Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R) says she’s willing to vote for former President and 20204 GOP frontrunner Donald Trump even if he goes to jail.
MTG spoke with The Daily Mail just hours after Monday night’s indictments out of Georgia.

I’ve been lockstep with President Trump from day one and that goes back to 2015,’ Greene said when asked about the indictment emboldening Trump supporters. ‘I am even more invested now.’
‘I will vote for that man if he is in jail,’ the far-right lawmaker said. ‘I am going to campaign all over my state, the state of Georgia, and I’m talking to everyone about electing him in 2024. We have to deliver Georgia for President Trump.’
‘Not only that, I’m going to campaign all over the country. I’m going to work as hard as possible for him, to win this election,’ she added.
Greene is heading to the Iowa State Fair next weekend as a surrogate for Trump after the 2024 hopeful visited the annual event on Saturday, taking up much of the oxygen from other primary candidates descending on the first-in-the-nation primary caucus state.
After the Georgia grand jury indictment of Trump this week, Greene posted to her official congressional Twitter an upside-down American Flag.
She insisted, however, that the continued investigations, legal pursuits and indictments against Trump will only further garner his support from voters across the board as well as among Republican politicians.
‘[Democrats] are sealing up his support. They’re giving him more support,’ Greene told DailyMail.com. ‘They’re giving him independent voters right now, because independent voters are like, ‘Wait a minute, we don’t want to vote for communist.’
All of these communist indictments are about silencing President Trump’s speech and ultimately YOUR free speech.
