Secretary of State Mike Pompeo refused to allow an Alabama-born ‘ISIS wife’ to return to the United States Wednesday; blocking her request despite her public apology for joining the Islamic State in Syria.
“Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said Wednesday an Alabama-born woman who joined ISIS but now wants to return home with the 18-month-son she had with her ISIS husband will not be admitted back into the United States, saying she is not a U.S. citizen anymore,” reports Fox News.
“Ms. Hoda Muthana is not a U.S. citizen and will not be admitted into the United States,” Pompeo said in a statement. “She does not have any legal basis, no valid U.S. passport, no right to a passport, nor any visa to travel to the United States. We continue to strongly advise all U.S. citizens not to travel to Syria.”
“I would tell them please forgive me for being so ignorant, and I was really young and ignorant and I was 19 when I decided to leave,” Muthana -now 24- told the Guardian Newspaper.

ISIS AMONG US: Former Indiana Resident Charged with ‘SUPPORTING’ the Islamic State
A former Indiana resident was charged with supporting the Islamic State Thursday, with Department of Justice officials confirming the woman aided the terror network between 2014 and 2015.
According to the Washington Examiner, Samantha Elhassani was charged with “conspiring to provide material support to the Islamic State and helping provide material support to the terrorist organization.”
“My office is committed to aggressively pursuing and prosecuting those who support designated terrorist organizations such as ISIS,” said U.S. Attorney Thomas Kirsch. “This indictment is an example of that commitment. The indictment alleges that Elhassani traveled abroad and provided funds and supplies for use by two ISIS fighters. The seriousness of the charges reflect the gravity of Elhassani’s alleged conduct.”
“The charges against Ms. Elhassani illustrate that actions of providing support to ISIS have serious consequences, and should serve as a reminder to American citizens that providing assistance to terrorist organizations or individuals aligned with terrorist entities will not be tolerated,” added the FBI.

ANARCHY IN THE UK: Vicious Hate Preacher Released from UK Prison
Anti-western and pro-ISIS Islamic cleric Anjem Choudary was released from a United Kingdom jail this week; serving half his prison sentence for urging Islamic State fighters to wage holy war on the UK.
“He was seen this morning leaving prison in a car with blacked out windows, escorted by two police vehicles,” writes the Sun. “Later, he was seen leaving the hostel flanked by cops. When asked questions about his release, he smiles but remained silent however.”
The hate preacher was released after “reaching the halfway point” of his five-year sentence.
His fiery sermons and vicious anti-western propaganda partially inspired at least two attacks in London: a vehicular assault on a major bridge and the killing of soldier Lee Rigby.
“I think it is disgusting that he is here and freed so early given what he is responsible for,” said one local. “It is repugnant to think that this man who inspired terrorists is now living here.”
