NO REMORSE: Career Criminal All Smiles After Shoving Bronx Man in Front of Subway Train

posted by Hannity Staff - 3.26.24

24-year-old career criminal Carlton McPherson showed no remorse on Tuesday while being walked from the 25th Precinct just after 9:35 a.m. McPherson allegedly shoved a 54-year-old Bronx man in front of a 4 subway train during rush hour Monday evening; the man was killed.

From The New York Post:

Before he officially came out of the precinct, he had a smirk on his face before trying to put his hoodie on.

Cops removed his hood, and during the walk to a car, he had a serious face and turned his head away from cameras.

He did not say anything or respond to any reporter questions.

Police said he shoved the victim in front of a No. 4 train as it entered the 125th Street station and was busted after he was fingered by bystanders.

The victim was struck by the train and pronounced dead shortly after police arrived.

The incident comes amid lingering concern over crime in the transit system.

Felony assaults in the NYC subway system have jumped 50% since 2019. New York Governor Kathy Hochul has sent the National Guard into the subway system to deal with the surge. Mayor Eric Adams has reinstated bag checks.

This week, 800 additional NYPD officers were sent into the subway system in an attempt to crack down on fare beaters in what’s being called “Operation Fare Play.”
