NO LAUGHING MATTER: MSNBC Laughs at Virginians for Caring About Immigration, Gets Wrecked on X [WATCH]

Former White House Press Secretary and current MSNBC host Jen Psaki thinks it’s laughable that voters in Virginia care about immigration. According to exit polls, it was the number one issue in the commonwealth.

“If you look at some of these exit polls, I mean, I live in Virginia, immigration was the number one issue. Again, these could change,” Psaki said to a panel of laughing co-hosts.

“Well, Virginia does have a border with West Virginia,” Maddow chimed in.

Fox News border correspondent Bill Melugin reacted to the clip on X, explaining to the out-of-touch panel exactly why Virginians are concerned with the disastrous state of Joe Bidne’s border.

“Two weeks ago, in Virginia, an illegal alien from Venezuela was arrested & charged with sexually assaulting a 14-year-old girl in Campbell County, VA. He had crossed illegally into El Paso, TX, in September 2023 and was released into the U.S. by the federal government,” Melugin posted.

According to a recent Gallup poll, two of the biggest issues for voters are the economy and the border.

From The New York Post:

About one-third of Americans think that economic problems are the most important issue facing the country today, according to a monthly poll published by Gallup.

That includes 12% of voters who are worried about the economy in general and 11% who identified the high cost of living and ongoing inflation crisis as the top problem in the country.

Another 3% expressed concern about the steep federal budget deficit, while 2% said taxes.

By comparison, 28% of Americans said that immigration is the No. 1 problem, while 20% said the top issue is the government and poor leadership.
