According to a Politico report, Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin has confirmed that U.S. intelligence agencies haven’t seen any evidence that Israel has committed genocide in the Gaza Strip.

Pressure has been mounting against the Biden Administration for supporting Israel in the fight to eliminate Hamas after the October 7th terror attacks in Israel.
“We don’t have any evidence of genocide being [committed]” by Israel in Gaza, Austin told the Senate Armed Services Committee during a budget hearing, where his testimony was interrupted several times by protesters.
