Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez defended Ilhan Omar’s vicious rant against US Special Envoy Elliott Abrams Wednesday; saying the Congresswoman’s outrageous accusations of ‘Venezuelan Genocide’ felt “like justice.”
“Ilhan Omar is a Somali refugee. She has felt the ravages of war. Watching her question Trump’s envoy to VZ, who pled guilty to several Iran-Contra crimes, feels like justice,” tweeted Cortez.

Embattled Democratic Rep. Ilhan Omar viciously attacked the US Special Envoy for Venezuela Elliott Abrams during his congressional testimony Wednesday; bizarrely asking if the official would support a “genocide in Venezuela”
“I fail to understand why members of this committee or the American people should find any testimony that you give today to be truthful,” said Omar.

REP. OMAR: President Trump Promoting Venezuela ‘COUP’ to ‘Install Far Right’ Leader
Rep. Ilhan Omar continued to ruffle feathers in Washington, DC this week; bizarrely claiming President Trump was promoting a Venezuela ‘coup’ to install “far right” politicians as socialist President Nicolas Maduro’s regime crumbled.
“A US backed coup in Venezuela is not a solution to the dire issues they face. Trump’s efforts to install a far right opposition will only incite violence and further destabilize the region. We must support Mexico, Uruguay & the Vatican’s efforts to facilitate a peaceful dialogue,” she tweeted.

Omar’s Twitter account made national headlines this week when she posted -then quietly deleted- a message claiming the Covington Catholic students were using “racist chants” in a now-debunked viral video.
