Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi caved to pressure from the radical wing of the Democratic Party Thursday; confirming her resolution against all “forms of hatred” has nothing to do with Rep. Ilhan Omar.
“It’s not about her,” Pelosi said of Omar during her weekly press briefing. “It’s about these forms of hatred.”
“I feel confident [Ilhan Omar’s] words were not based in an antisemitic attitude, but that she didn’t have a full appreciation of how they landed on other people where these words have a history and cultural impact that might have been unknown to her,” she added.

BACKLASH GROWS: Scalise Says Omar Should be REMOVED from Committee, BLOCKED from Intel
Rep. Steve Scalise joined the growing chorus of legislators calling for the removal of Ilhan Omar from the House Foreign Affairs Committee Tuesday; saying she should no longer have access to classified briefings regarding the State of Israel after her anti-Semitic rant.
“Right now, she sits on the Foreign Affairs Committee. She’s able to get classified briefings on foreign policy, especially as it relates to Israel. She’s made statements, anti-Israel, anti-Jewish statements, aligned herself with anti-Semitic people as well,” said Scalise.
“She should be removed from the Foreign Affairs Committee, Nancy Pelosi should remove her immediately,” he added.
DEMS DEFLECT: Sen. Warren Says ‘Threats of Violence Against Omar’ Are ‘Never Acceptable’
Senator and 2020 presidential hopeful Elizabeth Warren defended Rep. Ilhan Omar’s anti-Israeli tirade Wednesday night; bizarrely stating that “threats of violence” are “never acceptable” while ignoring her vicious, anti-Semitic rhetoric.
“Branding criticism of Israel as automatically anti-Semitic has had a chilling effect on our public discourse and makes it harder to achieve a peaceful solution between Israelis and Palestinians,” said a statement from Warren’s office.
