It’s finally official: Jen Psaki will join MSNBC.
The former White House Press Secretary and perpetual circle-backer Jen Psaki will host a streaming show set to debut in 2023, the Daily Mail reports. Psaki will also appear as an analyst for the network.
“She is the latest member of the Biden administration to join the left-leaning network after it hired Kamala Harris’ senior spokesperson Symone Sanders to Peacock,” the Daily Mail reports. “Her departure came with Biden facing dismal approval ratings and the Democrats facing heavy losses to Republicans in the November midterms. ”
Psaki’s last day in the West Wing was May 13th, when she passed the torch to current White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre. At the time, Psaki said ” People always ask me … whether Washington is rotten, whether everyone is corrupt here and nothing good happens and we all just argue with each other,” she said. “I, having done this job, believe the absolute opposite is true.”
“You have challenged me, you have pushed me, you have debated me, and at times we have disagreed. That is democracy in action,” she said. “Without accountability, without debate, government is not as strong.”
