World’s richest man Elon Musk is weighing in on gender-affirming surgeries for minors.
Lieutenant Governor of Minnesota Peggy Flanagan addressed a crowd this week wearing a shirt that read “Protect Trans Kids.” Flannagan had the following to say: “Let’s be clear: this is life-affirming and life-saving health care,” she declared. “When our children tell us who they are, it is our job as grown-ups to listen and to believe them. That’s what it means to be a good parent.”
Musk replied to the video, saying “Not when they’re fed propaganda by adults,” Musk said. “Moreover, every child goes through an identity crisis before their personality/identity crystallizes. Therefore, we shouldn’t allow severe, irreversible surgery or sterilizing drugs that they may regret until at least age 18.”

The trans issue is something that Musk views as important since one of his children identified as transgender and publicly attacked him.
In a subsequent interview with the Financial Times last fall, Musk blamed the far-Left for turning his biological son against him, the newspaper said.
“It’s full-on communism … and a general sentiment that if you’re rich, you’re evil,” says Musk. “It [the relationship] may change, but I have very good relationships with all the others [children]. Can’t win them all.”
