Special counsel Robert Mueller is reportedly convinced that Russian agents are attempting to gather intelligence on his collusion probe; going so far as to request a “protective order” Tuesday to keep Kremlin-backed officials from gaining access to the investigation.
According to Law & Crime, Mueller and his top deputy Rush Atkinson “filed a 14-page motion” this week that argued his team should no longer be forced to disseminate key material to a Russian company indicted for meddling on social media.
“After review of the materials, defense counsel could seek permission from the Court to make additional disclosures. For any foreign national to whom defense counsel wishes to disclose sensitive materials, defense counsel would provide a firewall counsel for the government (separate from the prosecution team) with the name of any such individual contemporaneous to its request for Court approval,” states the motion.
The special counsel’s team is convinced that Concord Management -the indicted Russian company- would likely share any information it receives from Mueller with the Kremlin.

MUELLER MADNESS: Charged Company Says Mueller Out to ‘Indict ANY Russian’
Attorneys for a Russian company indicted for “meddling” in the 2016 presidential election slammed the special counsel’s ongoing probe Monday; saying Robert Mueller’s team was out to “indict a Russian… any Russian.”
Lawyers for Concord Management and Consulting LLC slammed Mueller’s “political” witch hunt; claiming their clients had nothing to do with interfering in the 2016 race for the White House for either political candidate.
“The reason is obvious, and political to justify his own existence the Special Counsel has to indict a Russian — any Russian,” the lawyers wrote.
The attorneys called on US District Judge Dabney Friedrich to overturn the indictment, saying “With that information, the court can determine whether those instructions could support a motion to dismiss the facially invalid count one of the indictment.”
“The instant indictment fails to allege that the defendant knew it was acting unlawfully and that it intended to violate the underlying regulatory offenses,” the court paperwork said.
MUELLER MADNESS: Federal Judge Says Mueller ‘LYING’ to Target Trump
A federal judge issued a stark rebuke to the special counsel’s office Friday, accusing Mueller’s team of “lying” to expand its investigation into Russian collusion in an attempt to deliberately target the President.
According to Fox News, US District Judge T.S. Ellis lashed-out at Mueller’s office during a hearing for former Trump campaign manager Paul Manafort; saying the special counsel was using Manafort to dig-up information on the President.
“You don’t really care about Mr. Manafort,” said the judge. “You really care about what information Mr. Manafort can give you to lead you to Mr. Trump and an impeachment, or whatever.”
Ellis then demanded the team release the “scope memo,” a document outlining the initial “scope” of the investigation after the appointment of Robert Mueller to lead the probe into Russian collusion.
“We don’t want anyone with unfettered power,” he added
“He summed up the argument of the Special Counsel’s Office as, “We said this was what [the] investigation was about, but we are not bound by it and we were lying,’” writes Fox.
