Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg arrived in East Palestine, Ohio on Thursday nearly three weeks after the toxic train derailment —and he doesn’t look happy.

Pothole Pete was immediately swarmed by reporters who were looking for answers to a pretty simple question: why did it take you so long to get here?

Buttigieg’s press secretary quickly stepped in to play defense and attempted to shut the reporters down while Pete wore a miserable face.
