Miller sets critics straight on “America First.”
White House deputy chief of staff for policy Stephen Miller stopped by Hannity Wednesday night to discuss the true meaning of “America First” and stress that the full might of the U.S. military is coming down on Iran.
The Trump Doctrine — America First — is not isolationism.
“The President has made clear that he believes America’s awesome military might should be used to protect and defend America’s interests,” Miller said. “Not to surrender the world to our enemies … not to surrender the world’s resources, lanes of commerce, or capacity to keep our citizens safe. No! ‘America First’ means America will be the greatest, most unquestioned, unmatched power in the world.”
“And it means we will defend American lives, and we will avenge American blood,” Miller added.
“This regime has waged war against the American people for 47 years. They took our embassy hostage. They bombed our Marines in Beirut. They kidnapped, tortured, and murdered the CIA station chief. They have maimed and wounded and attacked thousands of American troops — all of that American blood spilled by this regime,” Miller continued.
Miller told Hannity that, when it comes to military might, the gloves are off.
“What you’re seeing right now is a military under President Trump’s leadership that is not fighting politically correct. It is not fighting with its hands behind its back,” Miller stressed. “What you’re seeing now is a military unleashed in all of its lethal prowess to go out and seek and destroy the enemy.”
