MASS SHOOTING IN MINNEAPOLIS: 2 Dead, Up to 20 Victims at Catholic School and Church

An active shooter was reported at Annunciation Catholic School and Church in Minneapolis early Wednesday, just two days into the new school year.

First responders swarmed the area around the church shortly after 8:30 a.m. following reports of heavy gunfire, FOX 9 reported. Police said there may be up to 20 victims.

Law enforcement sources told The Post the suspected male gunman was later found dead.

Attorney General Pam Bondi confirmed on X that federal agents were on the scene.

“Our federal agents are on the scene of the horrific shooting at the Annunciation Catholic school in Minneapolis, Minnesota. My prayers are with everyone involved in this tragedy. Our team will provide updates as we receive them.”

Founded in 1923, Annunciation Catholic School serves about 374 students from pre-kindergarten through eighth grade. Niche.com gives the school an A+ rating for academics and community.

Wednesday marked only the third day of classes for students returning from summer break.
