A clip of Kamala Harris speaking to high schoolers went viral this week after users on X began to question why the Democratic Party presidential candidate was unable to find an age-appropriate tone.

“Our country is counting on you — all of you. You are leaders by the very fact that you all are in this room doing what you do at this incredible school doing it as one big team understanding all the different parts that fit together to create a team,” Kamala said in the clip.
