While speaking to reporters before boarding Air Force One at Palm Beach International Airport on Monday, President Trump outlined what the U.S. wants from Iran amid ongoing discussions.
“We want to see no nuclear bomb— no nuclear weapon. Nothing even close to it,” Trump said. “Low key on the missiles. We want to see peace in the Middle East. We want the nuclear dust — we’re going to want that … and we want no enrichment, but we also want the enriched uranium.”
“If this happens, it’s a great start for Iran to build itself back, and it’s everything that we want,” Trump added. “It’s also great for Israel and for the other Middle Eastern countries.”

In a surprise move on Monday, Trump said the US will not attack any part of Iran’s power and energy infrastructure for five days after Washington and Tehran engaged in “very good and productive talks” over the weekend about ending the three-week-old war.
The president said talks would continue on Monday by phone, adding the parties would meet very soon.
