Biden Document Scandal

'MAJOR SCANDAL': White House Pressured Robert Hur to Remove References to Biden's Bad Memory [WATCH]

Tuesday’s House Judiciary Committee hearing was filled with bombshell revelations regarding former Special Counsel Robert Hur’s investigation into Joe Biden’s mishandling of classified documents. One moment, in particular, confirmed that the Biden White House attempted to have Hur alter his report.

While being questioned by Rep. Tom Tiffany (R-WI), Hur confirmed that he was contacted by the White House regarding comments on Biden’s memory.

“So is it correct that the February 5th letter that was sent to you asking you to change references to the president’s poor memory — wasn’t there a request by the White House for you to do that?” Tiffany asked Hur on Tuesday.

“There was a request, yes,” Hur confirmed.

Tiffany then notes that Maryland Rep. Jamie Raskin said that wasn’t the case.

“I think the record should show that the gentleman from Maryland earlier said that that wasn’t the case.”

“Didn’t the White House then go to the Attorney General himself and say he’d like to see changes to the references in regards to the president’s memory?” Tiffany asks Hur.

“White House counsel did send such a letter,” Hur confirmed.

The House Judiciary GOP account shared the clip on X, saying “Joe Biden’s White House pressured Robert Hur to change aspects of his report surrounding the President’s memory. This is a major scandal.”
