What a welcome.
President Donald Trump touched down in Saudi Arabia Tuesday morning — after a dramatic escort by fighter jets through Saudi airspace.
Journalists aboard Air Force One described six Saudi F-15s cruising closely alongside—three on each wing—for the final 30 minutes of the flight.
Assistant to the president Dan Scavino shared a clip of the jet escort on X, saying, “Good morning from Air Force One, Saudi Arabia! Thank you for the escort, and having President Trump’s back—We all appreciate it. See you on the ground shortly, THANK YOU!!!”

Trump was also greeted at the airport by the Saudi Crown Prince.
Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman rolled out the red — or rather, royal purple —carpet for Trump, treating him to a spectacle he loves: military fanfare, horseback escorts for the Beast, and booming national anthems from both countries.

Now remember…
The Saudi Crown Prince did not meet Biden at the airport. He made Biden come to him to meet.

After the outdoor royal welcome, the two men adjourned to the palace for their first formal talks of the day.
