Back in 2020, then-candidate Joe Biden promised that he would not be continuing former President Donald Trump’s wall at the southern border. Here’s what he said at the time:

“There will not be another foot of wall constructed in my administration!”

Today, Biden’s DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas declared an “immediate need” to build 20+ miles of border wall in Texas, waiving 26 federal laws to expedite the process.
