The Buffalo Bills’ official Twitter account shared that Hamlin, who collapsed during Monday Night Football, had his breathing tube removed and is talking with friends, family and teammates.

Hamlin even called into a team meeting.

His message: “love you boys.”

“Per the physicians at UCMC, Damar’s breathing tube was removed overnight. He continues to progress remarkably in his recovery,” another statement posted to Twitter read. “His neurologic function remains intact and he has been able to talk to his family and care team.”
