Chuck keeps it close to the vest…

Senate Democratic Minority Leader Chuck Schumer said Tuesday he voted in New York City’s heated mayoral race — but declined to reveal whether he backed his party’s nominee.

Schumer, a Brooklyn native, previously refused to endorse far-left Democratic nominee Zohran Mamdani or former Gov. Andrew Cuomo, who is running as an independent.

“Look, I voted and I look forward to working with the next mayor to help New York City,” Schumer told reporters at his weekly press conference in Washington when asked if he voted for Democratic socialist Mamdani or Cuomo.

Meanwhile, House Democratic Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries threw his support behind Mamdani shortly before early voting began late last month.

But Jeffries also won’t commit to Mamdani being the future of his party.

“I think the future of the Democratic Party is going to fall as far as we’re concerned, relative to the House Democratic Caucus and members who are doing a great work all across the country as it relates to our need to both take back control of the House,” Jeffries told CNN’s Jake Tapper over the weekend.
