Texas Governor Greg Abbott confirmed Monday that the Lone Star State witnessed zero CoVID-related fatalities on May 16th, 2021; the first time since officials began keeping records back in March 2020.
“Today Texas reported: * 0 Covid related deaths–the only time that’s happened since data was tracked in March, 2020. * the fewest Covid cases in over 13 months * the lowest 7-day Covid positivity rate ever * the lowest Covid hospitalizations in 11 months. Thanks, Texans!” posted Abbott on Twitter.

President Biden infamously labeled Abbott’s decision to re-open the Lone Star State in March as an example of “Neanderthal thinking.”
“Do you have a message for Texas and Mississippi?” asked one reporter on March 4th.
“I think it’s a big mistake. Look, I hope everybody has realized by now that these masks make a difference. We’re on the cusp of being able to change the nature of this disease because of the way we’re getting vaccines into people’s arms. We’ve moved that up to May,” said Biden.
“The last thing we need is Neanderthal thinking that in the meantime, everything is fine!” he added. “It still matters.”

BIDEN on TEXAS OPENING: ‘It’s a Mistake, The Last Thing We Need is Neanderthal Thinking’
Joe Biden weighed-in Wednesday on Texas and Mississippi’s decision to re-open their economy 100% and eliminate the mandatory mask mandate; saying “the last thing we need is Neanderthal thinking.”
“Do you have a message for Texas and Mississippi?” asked one reporter.

THE NEW DEPLORABLE? Biden’s ‘Neanderthal’ Comment Compared to Hillary’s Epic Election Gaffe
President Joe Biden called a recent decision to eliminate mask mandates in some states ‘Neanderthal thinking’ this week; reminding critics of Hillary Clinton’s epic election gaffe when she labeled Trump supporters “deplorables.”
“Simply giving freedoms causes Joe Biden – the great uniter – to call us Neanderthals among other words that his predecessor Hillary Clinton did as well,” Kayleigh McEnany told Fox News.
“You could put half of Trump’s supporters into what I call the basket of deplorables,” said Hillary Clinton on the campaign trail. “Right? They’re racist, sexist, homophobic, xenophobic – Islamophobic – you name it.”
