LIKE WHAT? Bernie Says Free Healthcare Won’t Increase Illegal Immigration Because of ‘Strong Border Protections’

Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders defended his pledge to give illegal immigrants free healthcare Tuesday night; bizarrely suggesting the policy won’t invite more migrants because America will have “strong border protections.”

“Senator Sanders, you want to provide undocumented immigrants free healthcare and free college. Why won’t this drive even more people to come to the US illegally?” asked the moderator.

“Because we’ll have strong border protections. The main point I want to make, is that what Trump is doing through his racism and his xenophobia is demonizing a group of people,” fired-back Sanders.

Progressive and moderate Democrats squared-off Tuesday night on the first round of CNN’s presidential debates; with centrist lawmakers calling far-left policies “fairytale economics.”

“The ideological divide between Democratic presidential hopefuls came into focus Tuesday as leading progressive candidates Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren defended their liberal policies on healthcare and immigration against surprisingly energetic attacks from moderate rivals,” reports Yahoo News.

“The fault lines emerged immediately in the second debate of the 2020 Democratic primary race, with lesser-known candidates taking sharp digs and warning that forcing radical change could ensure President Donald Trump’s re-election,” adds the website.

Senators Elizabeth Warren and Bernie Sanders repeatedly called for massive, “structural” change to the US economy and political system on issues including Wall Street, healthcare, taxation, immigration, and more.

Democratic frontrunner Joe Biden will share the stage Thursday with Senator Kamala Harris; clearing the path for a potential rematch from weeks ago.

BAD BUSINESS: Home Depot Founders Say Bernie Sanders is the ‘Enemy of Every Entrepreneur’ in America

Home Depot founders Bernie Marcus and Ken Langone spoke with Fox Business this week; saying Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders is the biggest “enemy of every entrepreneur” in the United States.

“Do you get annoyed when you have big old targets, not specifically on you, but that the rich, all these Democratic candidates, to a man and woman, they single out guys like you as, this is what has happened to capitalism. Unfair,” asked host Neil Cavuto.

“Bernie Sanders is out today with a plan that will tax Wall Street trades pennies on the dollar. But it’s a start to pay for, among other things, college debt and maybe free college down the road,” he added.

“Well, look, don’t bring up Bernie Sanders, because that’s a red flag in front of me, because he’s the enemy of every entrepreneur that’s ever going to be born in this country and has been born in the past,” said Marcus. “Our kids today don’t learn Western civilization. They don’t learn history. History repeats itself. You see things happening over and over again.”

Sanders continued his calls for free public college and the elimination of student debt Monday; asking his fellow Americans if they were “truly free to pursue their dreams.”

“Are you truly free if you graduate hundreds of thousands of dollars in debt? Are you free if you cannot pursue your dream because you don’t make enough to cover your student loan payments? We will #CancelStudentDebt because there is no freedom without economic freedom,” asked Sanders on social media.

Sanders unveiled his latest proposal Monday to cancel the nation’s entire student loan debt; a move economists say will cost more than $1.6 trillion for American taxpayers.

“Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt., will propose on Monday eliminating all $1.6 trillion of student debt held in the United States, a significant escalation of the policy fight in the 2020 Democratic presidential primary two days before the candidates’ first debate in Miami,” reports the Stamford Advocate.

“Sanders is proposing that the federal government pay to wipe clean the student debt held by 45 million Americans – including all private and graduate school debt – as part of a package that also would make public universities, community colleges and trade schools tuition-free,” adds the newspaper.

Sanders confirmed last week that his socialized health care proposal will “absolutely” provide coverage to every single illegal immigrant in the United States.

“We will organize the American people around the concept that all people in this country have the right to health care, and at the end of the day, we are going to win that struggle,” said Sanders during a recent speech.

“Senator, would you include the 11 million undocumented immigrants in America?” asked the moderator.

“Absolutely. When I talk about health care being a human right, the last time I heard that undocumented people are human beings,” he fired-back.

BERNIECARE: Sanders Slams Trump’s ‘LIES’ on Universal Healthcare, Says Plan Will ‘Save Money’

Vermont Senator and self-described Democratic Socialist Bernie Sanders slammed President Trump’s “lies” about his Medicare for All program this week; saying the Commander-in-Chief misled voters in a recently published op-ed piece.

Sanders penned his own article for USA Today Thursday, doubling-down on his claims the universal healthcare system would -in fact- save Americans money and lower healthcare costs.

The Senator says Americans have President Trump’s plan on one side and, “On the other side is my ‘Medicare for All’ plan supported by 16 senators and 122 House members. It would guarantee everyone could get the health care they need without going into debt at far lower cost than the current dysfunctional system.”

“Study after study shows that when we eliminate private insurance premiums, deductibles and co-payments, the average American will pay substantially less for health care than he or she currently pays,” writes Sanders.

An independent study released earlier this year predicted Sanders’ potential plan could cost upwards of $32 trillion over a ten-year period; likely increasing after that.
