Former White House Press Secretary and Fox News host Kayleigh McEnany unloaded on California Governor Gavin Newsom this week for attempting to ban masks on ICE agents.

To be clear, Newsom does not have the authority to do this. McEnany’s take? This is another example of Newsom “posturing” with eyes on 2028.

“He thinks this is what the party wants and it is what the Democratic Party wants but it’s not what the general public wants,” McEnany said.

“They have to identify themselves. They have to wear ICE clothing. But you know why they have to wear masks? Because there were people in LA who were putting up posters — with their faces — that said, ‘Be careful of these faces, they kidnap people.'”

“They have to protect their faces to protect themselves, and shame on Gavin Newsom for putting them at risk,” McEnany added.
