Local leaders in San Francisco voted unanimously Tuesday to voluntarily limit their water supply in an effort to publicly defy President Trump; opting to help “struggling fish” populations as the region copes with “severe drinking water shortages.”
According to the Sacramento Bee, “San Francisco, a hotbed of anti-Donald Trump sentiment, has found itself in the awkward position of being aligned with his administration over California water policy. On Tuesday, the city’s leaders said the alliance was unbearable.”
“In an 11-0 vote, the San Francisco Board of Supervisors agreed in a resolution to support the State Water Resources Control Board’s proposal to leave more water in the San Joaquin River and its tributaries to benefit struggling fish populations,” adds the Bee.
Utility companies have warned San Francisco leaders for weeks the move could result in “severe drinking water shortages” to nearly 884,000 residents.

CALIFORNIA CHAOS: 1,500 ‘Non-Citizens’ Potentially Registered to Vote in DMV ‘Error’
Approximately 1,500 “non-citizens” may have been permitted to register to vote in an apparent “error” at the California Department of Motor Vehicles; raising serious questions regarding voter fraud as Americans head to the polls in the coming weeks.
According to ABC News, the California DMV admitted this week that a clerical mistake allowed upwards of 1,500 undocumented individuals to register to vote in the state.
“The agency was alerted to the mistake when Randall Marquis, a Canadian citizen and legal permanent resident in the U.S., went to the Los Angeles Times to tell them about receiving a piece of mail from the DMV saying he was registered to vote,” writes ABC News.
“I got this post card thing, this little piece of cardboard, and it said, ‘Congratulations, you’re registered to vote,'” said Marquis. “I thought, ‘Oh, that’s the stupidest thing I’ve ever heard,’ and I threw it out.”
“This error occurred when DMV technicians processed customer requests at field offices to change voter eligibility responses on driver license applications,” said a statement from the DMV. “Due to the order in which the change was processed, the customer’s initial responses were retained instead of the correct and revised responses.”

CALIFORNIA CHAOS: DOJ to INVESTIGATE Oakland Mayor After ICE TIP-OFF
The White House confirmed this week that the Department of Justice was launching an investigation into a California mayor who tipped-off illegal immigrants of impending ICE sweeps; calling the left-wing politicians actions “outrageous,” reports the Los Angeles Times.
White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders called-out Oakland, California Mayor Libby Schaaf Thursday over her decision to publicly disclose imminent immigration crackdowns throughout the Bay Area, telling residents to be on the lookout for federal agents within their communities.
“I think it’s outrageous that a mayor would circumvent federal authorities and certainly put them in danger by making a move such as that,” said Sanders, adding that her actions were currently “under review” to see if she violated federal law.
“The Oakland mayor’s decision to publicize her suspicions about ICE operations further increased that risk for my officers and alerted criminal aliens — making clear that this reckless decision was based on her political agenda with the very federal laws that ICE is sworn to uphold,” said ICE’s acting director.
Oakland, like many other California municipalities, considers itself a ‘Sanctuary City,’ often shielding illegal immigrants and undocumented workers from federal authorities and border patrol agents.
