Trump moved to end the DOE — Hannity weighs in…

During Thursday night’s Hannity, Fox News host Sean Hannity reacted to the big news story of the day: President Trump’s executive order to dismantle the Department of Education.

Hannity said the DOE has failed entire communities since its inception.

“The Department of Education’s days are now officially numbered,” Hannity said. “President Trump has signed an executive order to dismantle the DOE once and for all.”

Before signing the order to end the DOE, Trump said, “Everyone knows it’s right” and stressed America has to do better for its children.

“The Department of Education has failed — systemically failed — to improve test scores since its creation in 1979, despite massive and dramatic increases in funding year after year after year after year. Over 3 trillion dollars in systemic failure,” Hannity said.

“In fact, in 2023, U.S. reading and math scores dropped to the lowest level in decades,” Hannity continued. “SAT scores also plummeting despite high school graduation rates. That means an increasing number of students are being handed high school diplomas without actually becoming proficient in core, fundamental subjects.”

Hannity also addressed the meltdown on the left after Trump signed the order.

“For Randi Weingarten, other union leaders, and the Democratic Party — they never seem to care about the results of your children,” Hannity said. “They are only worried about the flow of money.”

“The massive failure to educate your kids will finally come to an end.”

Promises made, promises kept.
