Late-night host Jimmy Kimmel is getting blasted from the right on social media after claiming that Charlie Kirk assassin Tyer Robinson is “MAGA.”

“We hit some new lows over the weekend with the MAGA gang desperately trying to characterize this kid who murdered Charlie Kirk as anything other than one of them and doing everything they can to score political points from it,” Kimmel said.

He went on to mock Trump’s responses, criticizing the White House for flying U.S. flags at half-staff and Trump for discussing ballroom construction when asked his thoughts days later.

“This is not how an adult grieves the murder of somebody he called a friend. This is how a 4-year-old mourns a goldfish, OK?” Kimmel said.

Conservatives were quick to call for Kimmel’s firing for spreading misinformation.

“Jimmy Kimmel LIED to his audience by claiming Charlie Kirk’s assassin is MAGA. I’m tagging @jimmykimmel @JimmyKimmelLive so we can all demand he apologize & tell his audience the truth,” one user posted.

“ABC faces calls to FIRE Jimmy Kimmel or have their broadcast license revoked if Kimmel refuses to issue a full retraction of his lies that Charlie Kirk shooter Tyler Robinson is “anyone other than one of them [MAGA].” Kimmel is VILE,” another said.

“Alleged assassin of Charlie Kirk: I was driven by leftist ideas. I am a progressive. I am a trans activist. My family disagrees with my extreme leftist progressivism. I hate MAGA. @jimmykimmel: The alleged assassin is MAGA. Kimmel is an affront to human decency,” another posted.
