Late-night comedian Stephen Colbert is preparing to launch his anti-Trump animated series early next year; putting the finishing touches on ‘Cartoon President,’ a left-leaning comedy series aimed at taking down the President.
According to TV Line, the liberal host is ready to kick-off the 10-episode series on Showtime on February 11th, and will focus on the “misadventures” of President Trump and his inner-circle, including Donald Trump Jr. and White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders.
“The 10-episode animated series, executive-produced by Stephen Colbert and his Late Show EP Chris Licht, follows the Commander-in-Chief, his family and advisors over the course of their misadventures on a run-of-the-mill, ‘quintessentially Trumpian’ day in POTUS’ life. And ‘no one is safe, warns the cable network, adding that “key political figures from both parties and members of the media” are all fair game,” writes TV Line.
Colbert and fellow late-night comedians routinely attack President Trump, openly calling for his impeachment and railing against GOP-led initiatives, such as the Republican effort to repeal Obamacare or replace the nation’s outdated tax structure.

LATE NIGHT LECTURE: Crazy Kimmel TRASHES TRUMP on 'Net Neutrality'
Late-night comedian Jimmy Kimmel unloaded on the Federal Communications Commission and President Trump late Thursday evening, blasting the Commander-in-Chief for “appointing this jack hole” at the FCC who recently ended “net neutrality.”
“Thanks to you, and this jack hole you appointed to run the FCC, big corporations are about to take full control of the internet”
Kimmel was delivering his opening monologue when he slammed the Trump administration for putting an end to certain sections of Obama’s net neutrality act, implemented just two years ago.
“Meanwhile the Federal Communications Commission did something absolutely despicable today, they voted to put an end to ‘Net Neutrality.’ This is the rule that says everyone gets equal access to the internet,” Kimmel ranted.
“As long as they tell us they’re doing it now, internet service providers will be allowed to slow down or block web traffic to any website or streaming service that they like, which benefits the big telecom companies and does the opposite for all of us,” he added.
“I just want to say thank you to President Trump. Thanks to you, and this jack hole you appointed to run the FCC, big corporations are about to take full control of the internet,” he concluded.

LATE NIGHT LECTURE: Hillary Defends Paying BIG BUCKS for 'Trump Dossier'
Hillary Clinton doubled-down on her campaign’s role behind the infamous ‘Trump Dossier’ on Wednesday night, saying she paid big bucks to opposition research firm Fusion GPS because of their valuable “research.”
Hillary was speaking with the Daily Show’s Trevor Noah when he pressed the former presidential nominee over her financing of the debunked report.
“People say, ‘Hillary, is there a difference between your team paying for this opposition research and Donald Trump’s people working with the Russians to influence the election?’ Is there a difference?” asked Noah.
“Of course, there is. Most serious people understand that,” said Clinton. “This was research started by a Republican donor during the Republican primary and then when Trump got the nomination the people doing it came to my campaign lawyer.”
“He’s an experienced lawyer, he knows the law is, he knows what opposition research is. From my perspective, it didn’t come out before the election,” she added.
