'LAST WARNING': Trump Tells Hamas to Release the Remaining Hostages

posted by Hannity Staff - 9.08.25

President Donald Trump on Sunday demanded Hamas release the remaining hostages, warning the terror group of “consequences” if it refused. Posting on Truth Social, Trump called his message a “last warning” for the hostages’ release.

“Everyone wants the Hostages HOME. Everyone wants this War to end! The Israelis have accepted my Terms. It is time for Hamas to accept as well. I have warned Hamas about the consequences of not accepting. This is my last warning, there will not be another one!” Trump posted.

It remains unclear what action Trump will take if Hamas refuses to release the remaining hostages. On Friday, the president warned reporters that some of the roughly 20 captives still believed held in Gaza may already be dead.

“When you get down to the final 10 or 20, you’re not gonna get them out unless you’re gonna do a lot — and doing a lot means capitulation,” he told reporters.

The pressure from the White House comes as Israel intensifies its military campaign in Gaza. On Saturday, Israeli Defense Forces spokesman Avichay Adraee urged residents of Gaza City to evacuate ahead of an airstrike.

“The Defense Army will attack the building soon due to the presence of Hamas terrorist infrastructure inside or near it,” Adraee posted on X. “For your safety, you are required to evacuate immediately southward toward the humanitarian zone in Mawasi Khan Younis.”

The warning came after Hamas released footage of two hostages taken during the Oct. 7, 2023 attack. The video showed Guy Gilboa-Dalal in late August pleading for his release, and Alon Ohel on the day he was first abducted nearly two years ago.
