Fresh off the heels of Roseanne’s stunning ratings bonanza, network executives appear more open to airing conservative comedies; with television star Tim Allen teasing a possible return of his hit show ‘Last Man Standing.’
The comic hinted at future episodes of the television program on social media Thursday nearly two years after the show was abruptly canceled despite high ratings and a massive following.
“They heard all your voices people!! LMS just might be a reality. Keep it up. Who wants more #LastManStanding ?” he tweeted on Thursday.

ABC axed the hit sitcom in May 2016 despite high ratings among key demographics, sparking concerns the network canceled the show over its “conservative politics.”
RATINGS BLOWOUT: Roseanne Ratings REVISED UP to 25 MILLION Viewers
The ratings blowout for Roseanne’s recent television revival continued to stun industry experts this week; with revised statistics showing an unbelievable 25 million viewers tuned-in to watch the program after a 20-year hiatus.
According to the Hollywood Reporter, Roseanne’s ratings topped the 25 million marker when taking into account online streaming, home recordings, and internet purchases of the season’s first episodes.
“The new totals for the Mar. 27 premiere have the comedy totaling 25 million viewers and a massive 7.3 rating among adults 18-49. Looking at just the audience, the 6.6 million add-on from the premiere night is a time-shifting record. And that doesn’t even include the additional 4.3 million viewers who tuned into an encore telecast on Sunday night — or the growth it will see from Hulu and ABC streaming,” writes the Reporter.
The juggernaut ratings stunned experts and media pundits; signaling more television shows may attempt to feature working-class families to lure Trump-voters throughout the country.
The President himself called Roseanne Barr this week to congratulate her on the successful reboot; saying he was “proud” the show portrayed his supporters in a positive light.
RATINGS BLOWOUT: Roseanne Returns to MASSIVE RATINGS, 18 MILLION Tune-In
The highly-anticipated return of one of television’s most iconic characters didn’t disappoint Tuesday night, with over 18 million viewers tuning in as ‘Roseanne’ posted the highest ratings of the season across the board.
According to Entertainment Weekly, the reboot is set to become one of the highest rated programs in years; upstaging the NBC smash-hit ‘This is Us’ and giving ABC its best numbers since 2006.
“The premiere delivered an incredible 18.2 million viewers along with an equally impressive 5.1 rating among adults 18-49,” writes EW. “In the adult demo, that even trumps Sunday’s heavily buzzed 60 Minutes episode which featured an interview with Stormy Daniels.”
The pro-Trump comedian made national headlines last week during a fiery appearance on late-night television; telling host Jimmy Kimmel to “zip that f***ing lip” after his repeated attacks on President Trump.
“I’m still the same, you all moved. You all went so f***ing far out you lost everybody,” Roseanne told Kimmel. “Seriously, a lot of your audience -including me- A lot of us, no matter who we voted for, we don’t want to see our president fail.”
